What is Geocaching?

It is a high-tech treasure hunting game using a GPS device or a GPS enabled phone to locate hidden containers called caches.

Much of the fun is in the searching and some caches are very sneakily disguised—so keep your eyes wide and your solving skills alert!!

To find out more about Geocaching and have a go at finding a cache…

Join OPALs interactive launch with Nature Play and Geocaching Expert: Simon  Hutchinson.

Simon will be available at the Fat Tyre Festival in Melrose on Saturday 6th June 2015 between  11am– 5pm.

A formal 20 min workshop will take place at the OPAL tent from 12.30pm, but you can visit with him anytime throughout the day.
