You won’t even see your kids for the whole weekend during the Fat Tyre Festival! We have so much organised for them!

They will be either on the pump track down by the caravan park ( Lights on till 10:30pm! ) or they’ll be on the main street cruising on the Action Trax Modular Pump track. Other options they have are chilling out at the craft stall that the Melrose Primary school are holding ( Admission is $5 – proceeds go to the school – they have the option of all types of crafts, decorating their own cupcake, face painting, crazy hair doos and more! )

The Bank SA marquee will also have heaps of stuff to decorate their bikes with for the bike parade on Saturday.

OPAL can teach the kids about geocaching and there will also be a Mountain bike Orienteering course that they can keep busy with.

Over the Edge are hosting the Saturday night party so they will have them covered as far as dinner goes! Yummy tacos and quesadillas from TACO CAT Food van.

On Sunday afternoon there is a 30-minute feast of entertainment. Griffini juggles anything, anywhere and incorporates audience participation, unicycle stunts and other feats of utter stupidity before the great finale of riding atop a gargantuan unicycle and juggling flames of fire!  Griffini will also bring his circus equipment so kids can have a go of the unicycles, juggling balls, plate spinning, flower sticks, stick balancing sticks, hand held stilts and hula hoops.

BMX Jump displays and stalls, family rides and skills clinics – we are expecting a jam packed weekend of FUN on the BIKE! 

OOhh and don’t forget the GHOST TOUR on Sunday night – bring your torches and be prepared to get SPOOKED and FREAKED OUT!
